I don’t really know where to start, but any who here it goes….
I’ve known about Warhammer for about 10 years now, but just recently (3 years ago) broke down and bought the Battle for Skull Pass starter kit. After I got done painting some of my army I realized that the only person I could play against was my brother. The thing is after my brother and I both read through the mini-rule book we were still baffled at how to play. Needless to say I continued to paint, but never got around to how to play.
I would really like to get started in playing the game, both my brother and I love strategy games mixed in with a little luck. So what I was wondering is if there would be a chance someone could run a demo game for me or if I could watch someone play and maybe I could get a “play-by-play” announcing to explain to me what is going on.
What re-sparked my interest in Warhammer again was recently my brother and I have been playing a lot of Blood Bowl on our PC’s and being from the Portage County area I think that Gaming Grounds would be a great opportunity to try and pick up Warhammer again.
I would just like to thank who ever in advance.

I think we can make that happen. I know a couple of people who have armies that wouldn't mind showing people the ropes a little. We've got an Island of Blood box to use for demos as well. (High Elves vs. Skaven.) Or you could bring in what you have too. I'll talk to our store's knowledgeable Warhammer player about setting up a time to demo a bit.

Just as a head's up, we are doing Saturday Night Wargaming starting tomorrow at 5pm. There is a good chance someone will be going at it with Warhammer. Also, we're going to be having a minis painting demo on Thursday, October 20.
